Dr. Danny Shiem Shin Then, PhD, MSc, BSc(Hons), F.PFM, MBIFM, MCIOB, has over 25 years experience in research and development in various aspects of facilities and asset management. He is Joint Coordinator of the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction’s (CIB) Working Commission in Facilities Management and Asset Maintenance and a Council Member of Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM). Danny has extensive experience in postgraduate program development, coaching and research in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong. He is regular speaker at international academic symposia and professional conferences across the globe.

Mr. Teng Hee Tan, B.E. (Electrical), MI.E. (Aust), Director, Asset Management Unit, Queensland Health, has over 30 years experience in building asset management and maintenance, including extensive research involvement in building asset performance, maintenance benchmarking and development of policy frameworks. Currently Teng is responsible for asset management policies, strategy development and implementation across a health facilities portfolio of over 2300 buildings worth AUD$6 billion.
